Christilene has 18 years experience in both the private and public sector as a healthcare professional. She has developed from a junior nurse to a nurse manager and now in education and training. Her professional growth includes managing, leading, coaching, teaching and developing healthcare professionals of all disciplines. She achieved a Master of Science degree in Leadership from Kings College London and also successfully completed a mentorship course, which sparked her interest in teaching and development. This has caused her to successfully embark on a career in teaching, coaching and leadership development training. Christilene is a registered teacher with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, UK after completing a Post Graduate Certificate in adult education. Christilene values innovation and quality improvement and has worked tirelessly at setting and reviewing standards, making improvements and collaborates with colleagues. Her involvement and collaboration has been shown to improve the patient safety culture in her current employment organisation situated in London, United Kingdom.
Her involvement in understanding of human factors as core principles for embedding patient safety cultures and effective working has led to reduced patient accidents and incidents. Christilene has lead various projects involving improved communication, change management team building and building effective teams.
