TWO CURED EBOLA PATIENTS HAVE LEFT THE HOSPITAL AT BIKORO, DRC.

 

Two Ebola patients were declared cured last Saturday, May 19, 2018. They left Bikoro General Hospital with rehabilitation kits, announced by the ministry of Health.

“Ebola is an extremely deadly virus. But when the care is appropriate, it is possible to heal just like these two young men, former confirmed cases of Ebola, who were able to leave the hospital Bikoro this Saturday with their certificate of discharge and reintegration kit ” said Dr. Ilunga Oly, Minister of health. They will be followed by medical services although declared cured.

According to official figures, as of May 19, a total of 46 cases of haemorrhagic fever have been reported in the region, including 21 confirmed, 21 probable and 4 suspected. The index case has not yet been identified.
